EQSAB provides the following services:

• Accreditation services for Certification Bodies under ISO/IEC 17021-1 and related standards
• Product certification body accreditation under ISO/IEC 17065
• Certificate verification services
• Public directory of accredited Certification Bodies
• Information resources and documentation

3. Accreditation Services

3.1 Application Process

Organizations seeking accreditation must submit a complete application along with required documentation and fees. EQSAB reserves the right to accept or reject applications at its sole discretion based on established criteria.

3.2 Assessment and Decision

Accreditation decisions are made by EQSAB's technical committee based on assessment findings. All decisions are final, subject only to the appeals process outlined in our procedures.

3.3 Obligations of Accredited Bodies

Accredited Certification Bodies must:

• Maintain compliance with accreditation requirements at all times
• Notify EQSAB of any significant changes to their operations
• Permit surveillance assessments and witness audits
• Pay all applicable fees in a timely manner
• Use the EQSAB accreditation mark only in accordance with our rules
• Maintain adequate liability insurance

4. Fees and Payment

All fees for accreditation services are as published in our current fee schedule. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. EQSAB reserves the right to modify fees with reasonable notice. Failure to pay fees may result in suspension or withdrawal of accreditation.

5. Certificate Verification Service

The certificate verification service is provided "as is" for informational purposes only. While we strive to maintain accurate records, EQSAB does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of verification results. Users should contact the issuing Certification Body for definitive confirmation of certificate validity.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 EQSAB Content

All content on this Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of EQSAB or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

6.2 EQSAB Accreditation Mark

The EQSAB accreditation mark is a registered trademark. Use of the mark is strictly governed by our Rules for Use of Accreditation Symbol (EQSAB-R01) and is permitted only by accredited Certification Bodies in good standing.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Website for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Website
• Submit false or misleading information
• Impersonate EQSAB or misrepresent your accreditation status

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

9. Limitation of Liability

Complaints about accredited Certification Bodies or appeals against accreditation decisions should be submitted in accordance with our Complaint & Appeals Process (EQSAB-P04), available in our Resources section.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.

14. Changes to Terms

EQSAB reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Website. Your continued use of the Website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
